I hope you all had a lovely Mother’s Day last week and you gave or received some gorgeous and well-deserved gifts. I was so happy with the presents I bought for my Mum and Mum-in-law that I thought I would share them with you. I found these perfect gifts in a couple of my favourite high street stores and also online in two amazing Etsy and Folksy shops.
I have been a fan of the Claudia Made This shop on Etsy for a while now and was eagerly waiting for an excuse to buy something. I particularly love her small stud earrings which come in an array of cute designs and fabulous colours. It was so hard to decide which earrings to choose but when I discovered these watermelon studs and kiwi fruit studs, my kid’s favourite fruits, the decision was made!
After a trip to my local high street, I found this beautiful and vibrant colourblock heart scarf at White Stuff. I love the bold contrasting colours of pink, blue and yellow and the modern abstract shapes of the design. Everyone knows that a gift from me will always be bright and colourful!
I’m sure you will agree that no shopping trip is complete without a good look around Paperchase. I happily came across a new stationery range called Madame Romantica and purchased a magnetic meal planner, a set of three exercise books, a foldaway shopping bag and also a cute tulip shaped pen. Perfect for a stationery addict, just like me and all the girls in my family!
I spotted these fused glass bird decorations in the Alma Caira shop on Folksy a while ago and have been admiring them longingly ever since. After ordering my two unique little birdies I was so excited to receive them that I could not get them out of the packaging quick enough. They are SO gorgeous that I did NOT want to give them away!! My Mum is great but I just love them so much!!
Unfortunately I did not shop for my own Mother’s Day present so I didn’t receive any of these wonderful gifts for myself, boo hoo! But luckily my kids bought me the next best thing……. chocolates from Thorntons. They got me two of the same box of choccies, their idea behind this was that after I’d shared the chocolates with them I would still have a box left for myself….thoughtful of them, I’m not too sure!!
Did you make any perfect purchases for Mother’s Day? If so, I’d love to hear about them! And if you’d like to keep up to date with all my news and favourite finds, then follow me on Bloglovin (click the link, top right).
